Another Newbe From Socal!
Greetings fellow Mini enthusiasts!
My name is Choosak and I just joined this forum about a week ago. My wife and I (actually it's her car
) just bought ourselves a 2009 Pepper White Mini Cooper (hence my user name
). I wished that I had a picture to post, but I'm posting this from my work computer.
I have always been fascinated with the Mini Cooper. The looks of the car and especially the handling was what drove me to purchase one. We test drove quite a few cars before deciding on the Mini. My wife actually wanted a Fiat 500
, but the car salesman and I convinced her to get the Mini.
After having the car for only 2 weeks, I have noticed one major flaw with the car! The problem is that my wife's Mini makes my car seems boring in comparison!
Now I have to get one for myself!!
I hope to learn as much as I can from the rest of this wonderful community!

How's it going.....just noticed your post, I'm new here also, planning on buying a used, low mileage MC S hardtop.
I'm assuming you bought yours used also....did you buy from private party or dealer? If a dealer, what was your strategy for negotiating a price other than their "listed" price? Thanks in advance.....

Hello...I'm guessing you bought used. Did you buy from a dealer and were you able to successfully grind a good price out of them? I too will soon be buying a used mini and can't wait to get down to negotiations....Thanks
Welcome from Huntington Beach. I'm on my second mini and every other car I drive seems boring compared to a mini. I haven't been to any SCMM meets but plan to in the future. See ya around
