Hello everyone! I have been lurking around this site for about 3 weeks. Change is coming my way. I have purchased a used 2010 Clubman JCW. I bought the vehicle last Thursday from a private seller in Montreal Quebec Canada . I live around Edmonton Alberta. There were only 3 cars to choose from in all of Canada in this model. Just sucks that the one I liked was 4 provinces away from me. I bought the car sight unseen minus a hand full of pics?!?!?! The car was delivered to a transport yard last Thursday. I was told it would be a 7 to 10 business day delivery. Well as of yesterday it still hadn't left Montreal . Anyways even though I'm extremely impatient I'm eagerly anticipating its arrival. This will be my first Mini. My outgoing vehicle was sold yesterday . . It was a 2010 Chevy 2500 HD Duramax LTZ Quad cab 4x4 with a lift and 32" tires. It's going to be a BIG change but I'm excited. I'll post more pics once I get it. Great site

 

Im not trying to insult or get in your business or anything but from what I understood, you bought the car online without seeing it in person beforehand and not test driving it first?

Clubman JCWs are rare. I've been looking for them here in the States. Not easy to find... You are gonna enjoy it!

 

So no offence taken on the purchase as yes I did buy this car sight unseen. Is that usually how I roll? Nope. In this case I talked to his dealership about the history. I also got a good feeling from talking to the owner . He sent me a bunch of pictures and videos of it running. This gentleman owns a large tool manufacturing and distribution company that I actually own some of its products. The transaction was really one of the best experiences I've ever had. I believe in FAITH. I'm really excited about the car. There were only 4 cars within a 30 hr drive to look at.

You will be fine, I went from a 4dr jeep wrangler unlimited with 35's and took me about 20 minutes to feel relaxed.
