First post here, I just ordered a '12 Countryman and have learned that my car is in production. I have never ordered a car before so I am pretty excited about it.

I was wondering how flexible the dealers are on price?

I look forward to reading and posting here, seems like a great community.

Money, I would think you could get $1k off and or some accessories. Also, you said you ordered a 2012, it should be a 2013 right?

 

I was told they were not making '13 yet for the Countryman. Thanks on the info for my area events.

 

Hi from the Tampa area as well! I'm in Safety Harbor but I'm always motoring around in either a British Racing Green MINI or a Jet Black MINI. Let's add more waves to the Tampa area! Rarely does anyone wave around here. Hope to see your Countryman soon!

I am from the old school aircooled VW community we wave at all vws so you will be sure to get a wave from me. I live in Palm Harbor and work in Tampa so I might see you on the way home or to work. If you see a guy wave from a black 4runner in the meantime that is me.

Also, another thing, I noticed your username Storm Cooper; the British Racing Green is subtle-y Yoda themed, but our jet black MINI is very Darth Vader themed so keep on the look out for a blacked out MINI with Darth Vader on the roof, license plate MINVADR. Congrats, again

Welcome! Also live in Palm Harbor. When you see a red roadster on US 19 it's most likely me. I think once it cools off some and windows get rolled down there might be a few more waves.

As for price, you should have tried negotiating before you placed your order.

 

Hey...good to have another Bay Area MINI........I'm up in Brooksville, so, you're not likely to catch me in Palm Harbor very often.....but I WILL wave......

 

I have not spent a penny yet, so I am optimistic that I can negotiate with them a bit.
