If they aren't working on it at the VDC (some options like driving lights or JCW additional gauges are done there) it should be on the road in no time.

That's me! Not having anything installed at the VDC, so I just have to wait for it to being it's long journey of about 20 miles to the dealer!

 

Excellent! I don't think I'll have anything installed there or at the dealer. Mine was pretty lean on options so I hope it's pushed through quickly.

My only extras are:

• Black paint
• Sport Suspension
• Comfort Access
• Heated Seats
• Traction Control
• Black Rims

Edit: JCW Interior package too. Can't believe I forgot about that one.

 

I think that means we have siblings. Maybe you can run over there and drive it to the dealer for them. Speed up the process a bit...

 

I'm loving the pics and bummed my MCS is still sitting at the port. Crossing my fingers it makes the Fidelio on 8/1. Wow, that is a long boat ride to California.

Looking at some of those interiors I really wish we went with the red color inserts. At the time I was worreid how it would match Chili red but they look sharp.

I think I will be ordering Wet Okole seat covers once I am sure which seat I have. I had them many moons ago on my M coupe and loved them.

Hmmm.... Not sure about the JCW Interior. The options on the Accessories or JCW Accessories are what might not be factory. Don't recall where the JCW interior package was in the configurator.

 

2013 MCS chili red, black roof/mirrors, sport pkg, blk sport stripes, rooster red trim. bare bones for sure.

Ha Ha whats there not to love right!! I have people at the base im at checking mine out all the time..its cool... Good news though...this Thursday me and a few MINI friends are headed North to hit The Great River Route..which is nicknamed the Bloody Nose Roadway.. Its a very windy road with a crap ton of humps! Its a blast to drive.. You can seriously get day light under your tires.. I did on my R53.. I kid you not its fun Its time to put this MINI to the test!! ha ha

 

Which base are you at ?

Oh man, I know what you mean. I have stretch of road about two miles long on one of my alternate commute routes that has a much of small humps in the road. You can easily get your tires 6-10 inches off the road on 6 or 7 of those humps. I worry about bottoming out my MINIs on a few of them but they are a BLAST! Have fun, enjoy your trip !!

Im at Camp Ripley.. Its a cool place to work.. I cant wait for this trip...finally get some miles on my MINI.. But one has to be careful not to bottom out!! Also one has to watch out for cops!! they know its a hot spot for this type of thing... but it also has some awesome curves in it.. It goes for miles like that.. When you enter it they call it the dragons mouth.. Its completely arched with trees ha ha

 

The poster above posted up their configurator photos so here are mine...you can't see but I picked the black headliner option and h/k sound (gotta have it).

I might get a new set of web spokes just because they are awesome but the pace spokes are pretty cool too and much cheaper.

 

My CM finally landed on US soil today...and I was finally able to log into OL...figures. Let's hope he gets wrapped up quickly at VDC and is delivered to the dealer tomorrow (and that my MA send me a picture!)

 

Sounds like a blast to me ! Enjoy but make sure you bring your MINI back in the same condition it's in now... just with more miles on it !
