I stand corrected. Tiger just showed up on AIS tracking. About 10 miles from Manzanillo. Funny thing is that the site quotes UTC time, but seems to be more local time, (Pacific time is -8 UTC, Mountain Standard is -7 UTC, Panama canal is -6 UTC).
Unless I'm mistaken marine traffic shows her just approaching the canal.
LSLMINI
CR, I think they are actually providing local times, rather than UTC times. She looks to be on schedule to make it to the lock, (provided she is schedule to enter right away), at around 12:30 their local time.
I just hope I can get to the office in time to snap a few screen shots as she enters the Gatun locks.
I know the California Highway would drop off AIS for hours when just going around the outer banks and again when approaching Brunswick. Communications seem pretty unreliable.
Nope... looks like somebody wanted license, registration, a credit card, and the ability to administer a breathalizer.
They are probably doing the paperwork and getting some go-go juice inport. That was a long way to go across the Atlantic.

Whoohoo! I just got a call from my MA...my Clubby is at the dealer, and ready for pickup! Less than 4-days to get from the docks in Baltimore, through the VDC, to the dealer, and prepped and ready for delivery. When I ordered my '03 MCS, that took 2-weeks!
Now that hard part...not sure if my wife and I are going to be able to get over to the dealer tonight. If I can't get over there tonight, I am going to be going crazy all day tomorrow.

Called and it seems there system is down.. Or that's what the recording said.. Well just as I thought ... I got my laugh in for the day!!..lol. cheers!

You're in MN, right? I would imagine if it isn't there already...it will be there at some point today.
Happy Canada Day, Lili.. have a beer for your neighbors to the South.
Dang, Sdiver... that's some serious fast turnaround. You would think VDC time and truck ride to IL alone would take at least 4 days. Very cool for you... will be anxiously awaiting pics !!

I know mine is ha ha
Sadly, I have to wait until tomorrow...no way I could really make it work tonight
. Tomorrow is going to be a LONG, LONG, LONG day
. There will be plenty of photos though...no worries about that
.
.
But I noticed they seem to be all smiles.. So I know they are enjoying the MINI..
I think you had mentioned that earlier that you would be up in MN... Hope you had a good time here.. It was sad to see one of my MINIs go about a month ago .. Didn't like the feeling at all.. Plus they have driven by my house a few times and honked the horn... which makes me wonder if I should have even sold it!!

.The guy that bought my R53 didn't know how to drive stick...but I have to commend him for wanting (now needing) to learn. I told him that the only condition of the sale was that he had to attend some Chicago MINI Club events so I could visit with her from time to time. I don't think he quite understood how serious I was
. He was excited though, although his friend may have been more excited to drive it home for him

Speaking of mine it's off the hauler and waiting for me to pick her up.
Heck, why not make it a MINI vacation right?
Yes, MN was nice...my in-laws retired & bought a place in Wabasha, so we were up there seeing them. Did a little fishing, otherwise a healthy amount of beer & relaxation. They watched the kiddos one night, and my wife & I got up to Minneapolis for a Twins game. A good relaxing week

But he seems to be doing a good job of taking care of it.. He stopped in the other day and ask how he was doing on keeping it up!! I said so far so good.. He was all smiles.. He is only 23.. but all teeth!!
I am happy for him...lol

Just searched it too and got the same result.
