Yeah, any body shop worth a nickel can do that job. If you're not happy with the dealership, just take it elsewhere. Probably cheaper too. You could put the savings toward some more carbon fiber bits and pieces.

 

Ha ha you know once you start adding things it tends to snow ball into more.. Yes like more carbon fiber pieces.. But you got to love it!!

 

Ohhhhhhhhh Yeah, I know very well.

I spent over $4,000 on aftermarket mods on my Chili Red/Checkered R50. When I sold it, those mods didn't mean a think in the value of the car. Going to try not to do much aftermarket stuff on my new one. Of course, a JCW doesn't need much more. The $2500-3000 of dealership additions will be enough!

 

For anyone else on the California Highway we have great news. It just showed up on Vessel Tracker and it's a day ahead of schedule into Baltimore!

My MINI is scheduled to arrive in Brunswick on the 27th so I'm hoping for the 26th. Chances looking better for a holiday weekend delivery.

Yep, first time I saw those wheels I knew they'd by my choice. Not normally a fan of black wheels but with the silver accents, they look really good.
