EHans... When you check your status on ask mini what does it say? I am currious
It says something to the effect "your vehicle is at the dock awaiting a vessel. No other info available at this time. You are pretty much screwed. Have a nice day."
Met with my MA today re: my dealership installed options. A little more expensive than I had anticipated. I'm very close to having a $40K MINI.
What are you having done at the dealership? Only thing I am considering is the stripes, and even the , I may do third party. Dealer costs on some things were ridiculous. Fortunately the things I really wanted can be installed at the port where offloaded.

Custom graphic and install, fair price.
Full bonnet clear bra, bumper, mirror caps, top of rear bumper, $995 installed. After seeing their installer's work and knowing the use 3M film, quite alright with that price. It's still less than I paid an aftermarket installer for half bonnet installation on my 06 Justa. And worth every penny.
Something else to keep SuperGreg in SuperSuspense that was a bit pricey but it has a lot to do with the look of my MINI so willing to pay for it.
The tint guy they contract was a bit high and I have a good source already so doing that aftermarket.

Let me take a few guesses:
JCW carbon fiber rear wing
New DRL's
Drilled slotted front rotors
Rear GP diffuser
Red GP front brake air ducts
Black headlight rings and black grill surround
18" black wheels with red lip
NM springs with lowering kit
Carbon fiber mirror caps
Exchanged a few emails with my MA yesterday, and besides a quote on a clear bra install, he said he expects my Clubman to arrive, and be ready for me to take delivery by July 4th! That's about week sooner than I would have expected...especially considering she is still sitting at the dock in Southampton!

That's good news !
What did you dealer quote you on clear bra and what are you having covered ?

Yeah, I'm not complaining!
I also posted over in the clear bra post I started...I asked for full bonnet, front bumper, and wing mirrors. The guy they contract out to can't/won't/is unable do the full bonnet though...only the frontal area of the bonnet that a traditional bra would cover. The quote for that was $950.

My dealer quoted me $800 with a lifetime warranty. I got an aftermarket quote for $450.
That's good news ! Once it goes into production, it only takes about 10 days for it to be completely built.
That VIN will come in handy when you want to track it on a ship. In the meantime, you can use your production number to track it while MINI still has possession of it.
So, it looks like there's no way to track Canadian-bound MINIs while they are in production.
