Looks like I missed boat number two leaving the port. next ship that I can track doesn't leave until the 18th. I think there is one or two K-line ships but looking for that info is like pulling teeth. Getting kind of nervous now since I want to have it properly broken in before I head up to the Dragon this year. and I want to have all my mods put on before then too.

All is not lost yet ChefTyGuy. The California Highway arrives in Southhampton on March 16 and the Georgia Highway arrives on March 22. Arrival times in Brunswick, Georgia are 29 March and April 4 respectively. Keep the faith.

Just called ASKMINI again, the auto guy tells me its 'in transit' OL say awaiting transit, customer rep says she can only see its at the port, my MA says he cant find any info other than its still in Southampton. A K-line ship left yesterday so maybe i'm on that (wishful thinking). Waiting for my second MINI is worse than the first because I know what im missing out on. Currently i'm driving a 99 z28 camaro which isnt the best sipper on gas.

Quote: Yes, very quiet, as in everyone got their vehicles and left. After spending a week in Baltimore enjoying the winter festivities my MINI finally arrived at the dealer last night. 2 more days and I'll start working off the 1400 mile break-in.
Sweet!! Congrats to you!!
It's been a really long wait for me (production took nearly a month to start) and being on the West Coast just adds insult to injury with regard to wait time. I'll be at about 11 weeks all told. Glad it's nearly over....

I guess I missed the boat
My Clubman S has been in the "Waiting for Transport" mode for three days and now your saying yours was just loaded up and on it's way, good for you bad for me
I'm on the West Coast too, I guess I'll just have to keep eating my popcorn
Hemisedan wrote: Oops, sorry, I didn't do it. There are ships leaving there almost daily, so you'll get going pretty soon. Catch ya later.
Hi Pro5jeff-
Being on the West (Best) Coast , unfortuantely for us, ships don't 'leave daily'. We are screwed in more ways than one, sadly. I missed three boats, each leaving about a week or almost two from the last. Here's what is leaving Southampton on the WW Lines in the next few weeks:

SOUTHAMPTON26/03/2013 PORT HUENEME, CA17/04/2013 TOREADORCD312-TOD22
SOUTHAMPTON05/04/2013 PORT HUENEME, CA30/04/2013 BESSCX313-BSS25

and here is another line that comes to Port Hueneme that a few folks caught over here that we didn't even know about:

Apologies if you knew all this before. There aren't many of us over here, so hope I was able to help!
Thanks,
Kim

Thanks! I just learned I left today on Boheme. Eta to VDC is 3/21. Hopefully to the dealer by the 26th! Lucky for me, the dealer is only 30 miles from port.

Well, the Capricornus Leader is currently in Long Beach, after stopping in San Diego yesterday. Tomorrow should finally reach Port Hueneme, then probably another 3-5 days to get to my dealer. Quite the wait...

Quick note: there was a big delay on the order status page and phone tracking. It jumped about 3 days and made it from Brunswick to Miami in no time at all. Nice surprise
Black wheels on black car. very nice. Red accents on interior are cool too.

Thank you Kim,

I didn't have this information, everything is/was moving along so nicely I can only hope now that I get on one of the earlier ships. The Southampton sounds like a great ship to me!
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks again,
Jeff

Quote: Well my Coupe has been at the dealership in Minneapolis since the 3rd of March. It has been horrible knowing it is there and I don't have it but I leave ND tonight at 10pm on the train bound for Minneapolis. As long as everything goes as planned I will be on the road headed back to ND tomorrow morning in my new Baby :-)
As for all those who are still waiting, hang in there......

The Tamerlane just made it to the port today. Now for the final wait from the port to the VDC to the Dealer.

I'm glad to find this and realize that my obsession is completely normal. My BRG Cooper S should be completed today! I'm hoping that the rest of the process goes quickly...

Just got an email from my MA that Marron is in fact out to see on the Athens Highway with an arrival date of 3.23 into Brunswick. Its amazing the disconnect throughout the ordering and shipping process but i'm lucky to have a great MA who's on top of things and genuinely seems to care about me and my purchase.

ChefTyGuy: Fantastic, fabulous, great. You'll get Marron in time go break him in properly before the Dragon. Next year we'll be there. We're going down to Richmond, MO for the Mushroom Festival on that same weekend. Morrel mushroom, I hope that they have some cooked up. Love them, but so isn't impossible to find.

Anyway, I'm do glad that your guy is on his way.

Hi Jeff-
You're welcome! Just a quick note, Southampton is actually your port in England. The two ships are 'Toreador' leaving UK 3/26 arriving in CA 4/17 and 'Bess' leaving UK 4/5 arriving in CA on 4/30.
Just wanted to clarify. Fingers crossed here for you too!
