Thanks as I've spent the past two days trying to figure out (on the Internet) if Mini Production line shutsdown during the Holidays and if so when and for how long. So I will just right them off from Now until Jan 2nd for progress.

Picked up Lexie this afternoon! She's been a blast to drive so far!! I love her.

 

Thank you for the photo especially since I had not seen a Baywater package. The blue with the black roof and the black trim all the way around including along the sides and front are a very sharp touch. Have lots of fun, she looks great. (I ordered an all black JCW (was on the fence between blue and black, even my wife assumed I'd order blue but figured I had a lead foot and although white would blend into the crowd better I prefer dark colors) so I never really took notice to the black trim being standard but with that blue it really stands out in a good way.)

My new ride has been sittin' on the dock of the bay as the song goes...I need a lift to Port Hueneme, CA. Hopefully it will be loaded up and on the way on New Years Day!

It's been over six weeks since I ordered but it sure seems longer! Another five weeks or so to go.

I was informed the other day that my new ride arrived at the distribution center in Brunswick and I might possibly be able to pick it up in Baton Rouge this weekend after Christmas. It even shows a pickup date on the Mini site of 12/28/12.

The Zenith Leader made it to the Panama Canal, and by now should be on the Pacific side of the locks. I guess that means about another couple of week wait for us...
