My cars on the Turandot too, but i just checked the ETA was the 10th at NJ? My car was loaded on the 31st.

 

The ship was supposed to depart 12/28 but it departed the 1st instead. So I'm assuming it will get to NJ 4 days late too...no?

 

Oh idk then, I just went to the WW track and trace and entered my vin. It showed it was loaded from the Southampton port on the 31st and when you click the ships voyage it shows ETA 10/1/13 NYC port.

 

Oh interesting. Hey maybe it left Southhampton on the 1st? Mine is a Countryman so it gets loaded first in Germany. Says the ship departed on the first but maybe that was its latest departure (Southhampton) and not the German port. This could be even more exciting....tried to track the ship but couldn't find it.

 

Looking at its whole schedule of ports thus far....it appears it left Germany on the 29th and just did leave Southhampton yesterday. So it prob is due in on the 10th!

 

Found the Turandot. Looks like it's just leaving the English Channel out into open waters....

 

and I'm loving it!

hmmm i have emailed my MA about the ship 3 times now and no answer. mine is either on the fidelio or antares leader - both of which get into LA within 1 day of each other - but still would like to know! i checked the ww site for the fidelio - no luck - how did you find out?

 

Awesome! I hope once it gets there it gets through customs quickly. I'm thinking I'm gonna get a delivery date of the 18th or 19th.

William the car looks nice, I like the driving lights but they were pricey to add on!

Hi Giantboy, mine is showing up using the my VIN to search cargo ID on the W&W track and trace site. It shows loaded on the Fidelio 1/1. I believe if you are on a K-Line ship only your MA can tell you for sure. I hope you are on one of them, please let us know what you find out!

Hey Weah27, yes I added almost everything. The reason is that I lost my previous MINI Cooper S to hurricane Sandy, it drowned and was deemed total loss. So I got a lot of money back from the car insurance, which I put down for the payment of a new one. A big win for me

It does look amazing and feels amazing, the 17" wheels make a difference, I feel it smoother when driving.

Yes, they are a little pricey, almost everything that you add cost pretty pennies, but I got that opportunity to do this and other fancy add-ons because of all the money that I got from the car insurance company last month when I lost my previous MCS during hurricane Sandy. Totally flooded.

I learned a lot of things about packages and add-ons after I bought the first one and was kind of sad that I didn't install some of them at that time, including MINI Connected (yes, I'm a geek, and now I'm loving it) and the front headlamps.

Those headlamps in combination with the xenon lights are da bomb!

 

Damn, that's awesome looking. I came so close to ordering Chili Red and seeing all the luscious chrome makes me wish I'd gotten the driving lights. Nice work!

haha, I never thought of having a red car, but then I started playing with the configurator and came up with this. I like it now, it's so bright and vivid.

The chrome finishes definitely makes it stand out even more. At first, I found it weird to combine with the black bonnet stripes and the black jack for the sunroof, but seeing it in person is a different story. I think viper stripes would look nicer though, but everything happened so quickly that the next day when I called my MA to request that change, the order had already kicked in in the system. I couldn't change it although those graphics are done here at the dealership. Actually, they did it yesterday a few hours before I arrived.

Anyways, it's an awesome car now.

 

I was shocked. MDH told me that I needed to check on the insurance for the new mini because it is going to be expensive. THINK AGAIN. My low deductible new 2013 Mini car insurance is $10 less than my 2001 Infinity Qx4 liability only coverage. Cha Ching. Another savings.. Needless to say that blew the doors off the excuse he had of reasons to not get the little guy. Oh yeh, that is the little boy blu that is sitting in my garage
okay lets not discuss the $10k of options but who is counting.

 

My ship has come in. The Zenith Leader is at Port Hueneme. Now they just gotta do whatever it is they do there, and get my baby up to San Francisco!

I am anxiously waiting for my 13' countryman s ALL4 to arrive!…I called to check on the status of my mini today for the first time (before that just kept checking online) and was told that the estimated completion date was January 14, 2013…that just means the estimated date for when the mini is ready to be shipped right? I order 12/10/12 so I guess thats about right.

 

Absolutely love it! This is our forth MINI and could not be happier! We had 2006 MCSc PW/b and 2006 MCS BRG/b and now have a 2013 MCSc PW/b and the Countryman. We were able to trade in our Mountaineer that we used for snow and are finally down to two cars that car fit in the garage. Hopefully our insurance will be less too. Really considered the Roadster but caved in and bought another S convertible.

 

We ordered ours on November 8 it was build and at the Port of Bremmerhaven on 12/4. Left on the Queen Sapphire on 12/12 and arrived in NY/NJ early on 12/26. Since service/shop was closed on New Years Eve, we could not pick up until yesterday 1/2. Tracking was nerveracking and found the ship information to be a day or two behind. Did not know it made the ship on 12/12 until 12/14.
