Mine said roughly the same thing. "Sorry, that's for West coast only, we never get that low here." Thing is, I ordered 12/27, when the financing was 0.9% and now they are saying I'm locked in for 1.9% and they can't change it. I'm over it. Just give me my car please!

Well, I guess they are refusing to, then. And they know they have me over a barrel because I made the mistake of telling them I was financing through them.

I swear I think I'm never going to get my car. I am betting its at the dealership now since its only a few miles from the port and it arrived Sunday evening. I'm also betting they are taking their sweet time about getting it ready.

 

That is exactly what they are doing, they are refusing to honor it.

I was googling trying to find infomration about the 0% Irvine Mini is offering and I came across this.

Not only is USAA offering .25% interest but for 2013 Mini Cooper Convertibles (and possibly other models) they are offering a $500 CASH rebate. Hell Yes!!!!!!!

Now to get the hubby on the phone with USAA. We might not even finance through Mini Financial after all!

So, I found that USAA has incentives whether you finance through them or not. If you go to this website, you can see if your dealer is an authorized dealer and as long as you have USAA insurance, you will qualify for the incentive

I just got off the phone with USAA and there is no need to finance through them to get the funded incentive. THere are incentives up to $1,000. I sure hope this helps some of you

I noticed that. It is the fifth ship in line to cross under the Bay Bridge. I might head over there in the morning before heading to the office in Annapolis...I'm only about five miles away.

I checked into the financing; nothing about 0.0 percent on this coast. The dealer is honoring the 0.9 percent and my credit union is now up to 1.49 for 36 months or 2.49 beyond that. I'll quit while I'm ahead.

 

Here is what you do. Seriously Call 1-866-Ask-Mini, get a human on the line and ask for BMW Financial. They will transfer you and tell them you did your deal on 12/27 and got approved for the 0.9 Financing and now that you are about to take delivery your dealer told you that you were locked in for 1.9% which is NOT what you had been told in December when you ordered your car.

They WILL FIX IT! You must call BMW directly and the best way is to call Ask-Mini and ask for BMW Financial. When they offer to help you to make sure you get your 0.9% as originally promised ask them to "Note your account as such". The finance person at the dealership can call BMW Finance directly and they will tell him/her to give you the 0.9% and give them whatever they need to note the account to make sure that is what you get.

 

Funny my Wife tells me that a lot. She just stops and looks at me and says "You know you have some serious issues" or any variation of that comment. I always reply "I know."

And to think people don't understand why I will be washing, waxing and NOT letting anyone drive my Mini for a long @ss time as I am afraid someone will "F" it up! You think my friends and family would know that at a minimum by now.

So maybe I have some serious OC issues? Really I'm over it....just want to DRIVE MY MINI!!! SOOOOON!
