Just got off the phone with my MA, and now I have no idea where the car is. He told me it was loaded on a ship the same time the Athens Highway stuff loaded, so I called him today to see if it had been unloaded and put in the system, and he said it was still in transit, and he didn't think it was going to be off the boat till friday. Is there another boat headed to Brunswick out there that people have seen? I just looked up Athens Highway and it appears to be leaving Charleston right now. Or is his information just behind?

Just dunno if I can wait until Thursday or not. I've already told everyone I know to not bother me this weekend, I'm not working but playing with my "stuff". Now watch, it'll come in on Wednesday when I have to work late and can't go get it until Thursday when I could have had it a day earlier. Do I always ramble like this?

Hi Paul! I agree completely! The worst of this for me was knowing my production was complete on the 7th and not knowing anything until this morning. 2.5 weeks of begging to be on one of the three ships I've seen leaving since then. Whew!
It's like a huge weight is off my weary shoulders.

Looking for some information on the ship Honor heading for Baltimore. Its been updating pretty regular until last night now I cant seem to find it. It's due into Baltimore on Wednesday the 27th, or it was the last time I heard anything. I know there are lots of smart people on here so hopefully one of you can help me out. Thanks

 

Just heard from my MA that my ship is on time (which we all knew here already!), and is expected in port by Wednesday. About the time the car should get to the dealership, he's going on vacation for two weeks. The day after he gets back, I'm out of town for another week!

The good news is that hopefully by the time all are back, we'll know whether I'll actually be able to buy the car (thank you, congress!)

I live in Charleston and saw the Athens Highway come into port yesterday afternoon. The security guy at the port said they would start unloading at 7 pm mans when I drove by at 4:30, the doors were partly open. My MA said my car got off that boat and now in waiting to see when they can get it trucked over and I can pick it up. Also, I just drove by the port, hoping in vain to catch a glimpse of something and the Athens Highway is not there.

 

So, is it now headed to Brunswick, or has it already been there? My understanding is that is where the car's headed my way are located.

Well not really but she's just posted a 3 day delay. Waaaaa. She sure does seem to be heading south of Baltimore. I wonder if she'd dodging weather.

Edit: She is dodging weather. I hope our babies are strapped down tight....eeeesh!

 

I sure was hoping that delay was just a bad dream, but better they stay in the clear.

OK, so how does the Honor pass Nova Scotia and then disappear from the tracking for two days? It is due in port in Baltimore on Wednesday; how can it be out of range? Is there some other tracking site beside sailwx and marinetraffic?

 

The Athens Highway was in Brunswick Saturday morning and Charleston Sunday around 3 pm. Not sure where it's headed after that or why it didn't stop here first.
