To make the Honor on the 15th, when should we see that our VINs are booked? I just got to the port; should I expect to bummed out?

I'll just be happy to finally call her Mini as I am buzzing down the road but I'd prefer the Honor as I am kind of holding a grudge on boats registered in Singapore after being dissed by the Manon.

 

No clue although it appeared that many saw their VINs booked up to 48 hours out although many seemed to get booked and their ride all on the same day according to a few.

Summary: I have NO CLUE but being booked would be a nice sigh of relief.

 

I know my new Mini is having a good time on board, and yes, we have a psychic bond, I was noticing I am tracking Tombarra and Manon. They are doing 14Kn and 16kn. We could hold a race to the 60 deg. Longitude if anyone has a better tracker and more skills than I. They are one behind the other right now so we could set a longitude marker start and the shortest time to 60 deg. wins! I'll bet on Manon.

Don't feel bad about obsessing over your Mini as last week I checked Air fair costs to Southampton think I could fly over and bribe a port official or longshoreman to get my Mini aboard but that was about $2300 more than I had readily available Figuring the flights were about $1800 + $500 for bribe(s). None of that included transportation, food or lodging.

OK! With all these awesome Minis in transport and most expected by EOM we should see a HUGE WAVE of PHOTOS! Videos are cool too! If the next two ships actually pickup for delivery to Brunswick GA that would make another 2nd HUGE WAVE of PHOTOS about a full 1 to 2 weeks later YMMV based on location of final destination of course. This thread better be FLOODED with PHOTOS by the 2nd week of March at the latest!

Stupid Microwave died yesterday had to run out and grab another just for the Popcorn for the upcoming show. Really!

 

Figure $30 for the train from Heathrow to Paddington Station. $15 for the cab transfer from Paddington to Waterloo Station. $40 for the train from Waterloo to Southampton. Then $20 to get from the Southampton station to the Queen Elizabeth Docks - assuming that a Cunard ship is in... If not you're looking at a bribe to get past the pier sentry before you even get over to the W&W staging area... If there's a Cunard ship is in you can "walk" across the street from the terminal to the staging area...

 

D@mn that was fast! Doesn't it feel great to know your Mini actually exists now and isn't just on paper or in someone's computer!

The day I got a VIN I actually went out and celebrated as I was excited and figured the beer would help with my anxiety of waiting. The beer did help for 1 night and I enjoyed it a great deal!
