I'm Melissa but my friends call me Mel. I'm a recently new owner of a gray '06 mini cooper s. Just recently painted the calipers yellow and plasti-dipped the chrome. My husband who owns a boosted '04 R32 has gotten me really into cars and im super stoked to get started on all the projects I have in mind!!

i tried to talk to local mini owners and they are so clueless. like this one r53 owner swears" its a turbo cause i can hear it." , or , " yeah, im putting 3" dual exhaust undermine". Never any NAM'ers thou.

I assume you are on the East Coast? There are quite a few folks over there, more than we have over here on the West coast.

 

I'm in broward. Haven't met many mini owners, seen a bunch but not people that are into cars. Infact my husband has gotten more waves in my car than I have, people just look at me like I'm crazt lol. I know a lot of people in the VW community cuz of my husband buy just gotta find that mini one too. Where are you located?

 

I live down in Dade, but I travel up and down from Orlando to Miami
