Hi from Northern California. I love this forum and have been browsing for some time. You guys are all responsible for the recent Mod Bug I caught! Two days ago my Chili Red 2006 MCS was completely stock except for a recently purchased DDM CAI. Well, I'm currently on my way to Mini Thunder III for my 8am appointment to get a custom tune from Jan after having a WMW 15% pulley, ATI Super Damper, RMW street cam, and RMW shorty header installed on Thursday. Today I get the 450 injectors and a custom tune. I'll be sure to post Dyno numbers later. This is all your fault! 😄

Mine was stock back in August of 2011. Look at my list plus I've got a Forge Step Intercooler, Megan Racing Coilover, nm torque arm insert, and h sport rear camber links ordered.
It hit me too. I'm sick.

 

drsimmons - that is a lot of mods in 6 months! I'm currently working on HP and torque and then brakes and handling will be next. It was a pleasure to meet Jan today from Revolution Motor Works! What a difference his tune made!! The results are in and supposedly this Dyno Jet reads low but I ended up with 204.17 HP and 179.31 torque. The numbers are cool and all but what really made me smile was driving my mini after the custom tune! I am hooked people! I am hooked!

 

Now all you need are destination, or you can just drive around in circles. Have fun.

BTW, do you remember the 'before' figures for the car, really a dyno is best compared to itself. What was the delta of the tune up?

I wish I had stock numbers but I had everything installed prior to the tune except for the injectors and then drove there.

 

Car forums are the best aftermarket parts marketing tool ever.

 

There is no cure for this disease. Only large infusions of cash can put it in remission.
