Longtime lurker, now member. 07 MCS AB/AB: "Riff Tamson"
Hi all.
Been browsing the boards for the last few months and wanted to make a post. I bought a 2007 R56 MCS AB/AB that was pretty bone stock back in October. Convenience package and that's about it. Even has cloth seats (which I was aiming for).
This is my first manual vehicle (turned 25 last year) and I am IN LOVE! Been a member of Metroplex MINI since the day I got it and haven't looked back.
As for future mods, I will be doing matte (or flat) black Shelby stripes, plasti'dipping the rims, and some small engine mods until I get a better job. Then I will jump on a DoS CAI and maybe some other stuff.
Oh, and the first mod was actually a metal grille badge. The second one I already have in my hands is a BSH oil catch can. Looking at getting the boost tap soon as well. Want to keep it running well. And yes, the "death rattle" has been taken care of.

Just had my death rattle fixed as well and earlier the thermostat replaced (leaked). Bought mine back in Aug and other than those two things it's been great. OCC is a plus (and the boost tap for passenger side).
