I got an 08 Mini R56 for New Years (well, not exactly because a car purchase was planned, but I got tired of mine dying). I passed this car by 9 times. It was the last one I looked at, and the first one I should have, if you know what I mean. It's not what I normally think of as something that fit my personality...I'm more of a "sporty looking" car person...you know...pointy front...angled lines...

It's my boyfriend's fault.


He made me drive it.


I LOVE IT!


Now I'm looking for accessories.


I'm in trouble.

I'm on my phone so can't attach pics...I'll do that tomorrow. It has 38,900 miles, silver, hardtop (black), unfortunately no GPS, Bluetooth or cruise, but wow...this car is immaculate! The BF is already talking about getting him an older S to mod...LOL. I am totally digging it, especially the color changing "mood lighting" as I call it. It's kind of odd having the speedo where it is, but I love the styling of this car. I'm 40 years young and this is my first ever financed car and I couldn't be happier with it. A friend at work has an 06 S and I thought he was going to fall over when I held up the....ummm....key? LOL I can't wait to put some miles on her this weekend!

Well, pics might not be forthcoming just yet...I have a 5 day guarantee and found a SWEET better equipped Blue/white mini same year in Knoxville. She's getting shipped here now. The salesman was laughing at me cuz I have put him through the ringer this week! lol If all goes well, I'll have a blue one by Monday! Mine has no bluetooth or cruise AND it's an auto, when I really wanted a stick. This blue one is just what I've been looking for at the same price and only 5k more miles. Wish me luck that she's in as good of shape as this one!
