New to the MINI family
New to the MINI family
Hello!
I am new to the MINI family with a 2005 Copper S. The story goes like this- I needed a little fun and economical car to go along with my gas guzzling SUV (have two kiddos and a wife that doesn't pack light, so the SUV is staying!)
A good friend has a Cooper S and it completely shatters the image of "econo", which pleases me greatly! I thought how hard could it be to find a first gen MINI with all the specs that I want? Well, after three to four months of searching high and low, coast to coast, border to border I finally found my ride! British Racing Green w/ white top and mirrors, 6spd (of course) and black/tan soft leather interior. It has every option other than cruise control
I have a MFSW on the way and will be doing the retrofit next week, so it will be complete!
Pictures will be posted later after she gets a full detail and polish.

Welcome to NAM!!
Congrats on the new to you MINI. They are fun to drive, especially nailing it coming or going on off-ramps. Tradition is you wave to other MINI owners as you drive. Don't forget to post pics of the MINI.

Welcome to some great fun!
Welcome to the world of mini ownership. I've wanted a mini for several years but had to get the Corvette "bug" out of my bonnet. After my second Vette ownership of 7 years the time came a couple of months ago to sell it. Within a week I owned my chili red mcs and I REALLY enjoy it. Enjoy this fun little car, you will not be sorry you bought it!!
