Welcome SimTech! Nice list of goodies there on your Cooper. I love the Chinatown area but don't get down there as much as I would like.

Welcome to the madness otherwise known as Minis.
Lot of info on NAM, just need to search for it. Lot of track mod info available.
Fun cars on the track...Might I suggest a couple more mods...camber plates up front, the brakes from an R56S or a Wilwood set (they should fit the 16" Oz). The camber plate will help with the FWD understeer. I liked the IE fix plate. Nice amout of camber and the car remained comfortable on the street. Being experienced on the track, you will likely over tax the smaller R53 brakes and you may want to upgrade.

Most of all...enjoy

Definitely planning:
-Brake cooling ducts
-15" track wheelset
-Front subframe brace
-Fixed back seats for track
-JSArt rear spoiler extension

Still need to figure out what suspension is on car and look at corner balance... when i can afford it, LSD!

Congrats, welcome to NAM. I see the the bug has bitten you. Once you start doing mods it's hard to stop. Motor on.

SON OF A BIRDCRAP!!!

Noticed the M7 Strut bar had a loose bolt on the pass side plate...

Then noticed the mushroomed strut tower and bent plate.

Turns out one of the plate bolt, hole, for the bar is stripped. Not a fan of aluminum under a warm bonnet anyway!

Will be ordering the Madness under strut plate today while at work... and calling M7 to see if they want to help a guy out with the pass side strut plate or if i will just upgrade to a steel bar and plate system.

I am starting to feel bad for the (obviously stock) E9x M3 i passed this morning as we were getting on the highway... ;-)

Not two worry, a set of IE camber plate will fix the mushroom strut tower. These are made with a steel plate that goes on the underside of the tower. This is actually stronger than the plates that go on the top of the tower and they use good, solid steel bolts to hold everything together. Beyond this there are a lot of post on NAM as to how to fix that problems.

I ordered the Madness underplates, should be here late this week. Looking at new strut bar options... prefer steel or carbon fiber for actual cross bar.
