Newbie to this forum but not real new to the Mini. My wife and I bought her dream car in 2008 taking delivery in August. I remember her heart almos breaking at the time as we missed the deadline for ordering a 2008 convertible by just 4 days . The informed us that they were re-designing the conv model for 09. But, the dealer here in Indiana located a like model to what she wanted and intercepted "Scarlet" from a dealer in Atlanta that ordered for stock. We took delivery and she has never been happier.

So you bought "her" dream car.... What is your dream car..... a new Coupe?

 

Well here is a picture on the day we picked her up. In fact, this is our sales lady driving her out of the show room area where they gave us the crash Mini owner class. We call her Mini Faith....she's only about 4'-6" tall how ironic huh. Mini2na....to answer your question, my dream vehicle is a little more rugged and larger...4-door jeep Wrangler . Although I doo have fun driving the wife's Mini when I can because it's mega fun. I have had the pleasure of driving her all week as the wife is out of town and I took her in for service on Monday. We are having a beautiful indian summer here in Indiana this week, sunny and 80 everyday so it's top down motoring fun on the twisty back roads this week.

 

dude been there done that had a 99 wrangler on 7 inches of lift and 35's

7mpg same mpg I get in my semi truck (73 foot long 80k pounds) so I sold it and finaly got a mini and couldnt be happier

I am not a fan of the JK anyways lol
