About to Be a New Clubbie Owner

Well, after twiddling my thumbs between a new Civic SI and a Clubbie, the decision was made for me when the Honda dealer called to say they couldn't get me an Si til December, and the MINI dealer called to say they had found one almost identical to the one I was planning to order. So, barring any surprises between now and tomorrow, here is my new Clubbie, which has already been named "Pip"

Beautiful! I came to my Clubman from a 2004 Civic SI. After coming from a long line of Honda/Acura's to my name, I'm LOVING my Clubman S sooo much more. The only other car that came close to the amount of smiles was my 92 Integra GS-R - I do miss that car often.

I owned a 92 Prelude S - I should have gotten the SI. I traded that on the GS-R - the first VTEC imported. I have driven many 90-91's Preludes and liked them very much. I still lust for a 91 SI 4WS. That car is a hoot!

But, the Clubman is even better!!! I hope this White Silver becomes yours!!!

Well, century was going to be getting me that one from Tennessee but it turns out it didn't have a sunroof, which I can't live without. So...now the wait begins. I swapped those wheels for the mini connect with nav. I figured I could always upgrade the wheels later.

JenK...thats a beautiful car! They've got some great deals going right now...you ought to see if they can't get you out of the X5. exyank...another upstater! What all did you get on your clubbie?

I have to wait 5-6 weeks for mine. They went in and changed an order they had placed for one to have on the lot to make it go a bit quicker.

I didn't even realize the silver roof was available on PW cars. Might have to look at that...

Well, an X5 isn't a bad car to be "stuck" in. Have you ever done the plant tour? I did it back when I got my 328...its pretty cool. Whats this about a Club?? Where can I find out more info?

well, you'll have to make a special 'SC clubbie Club'! Mine, however, would be a reef blue Hamton edition!

Yes, did PCD, M-school when I got my M6 cab and another PCD for the X5. I love the X5, it's diesel! Good vehicle, but no smile on my face when driving. I've had a few Porsche's in additon to the M6, but I want something 'fun' to drive every day!
