Same Boat?? K-Line "Chesapeake Highway" Sept 2011
Looking to see if anyone else here has a car on the K-Line "Chesapeake Highway" cargo ship. Left Southampton 9-17-11 with port arrival in Brunswick, GA 9-27-11 (MA says 9-28-11).
I have found that MINI does book extra shipping
with K-Line when they are getting back-logged at the departure port.
Anyone else have something valuable on board?

Congrats! I'm assuming you found out from your MA that you were on a K-Line ship? Most people can track if they are on a WWL ship but for K-Line they have to specifically ask which ship they are on which is why many people may just not know
Yes, that is correct. I couldn't find it on the WW lines so after a few days I called my MA and asked to find out which ship.
Our 2012 CMS is on that ship as well. We've been tracking it as it left Southampton. Like you, we kept looking for it on WW lines and when it didn't show up we called our MA. He confirmed it was on the K-Line Chesapeake Highway.
We've been waiting all week for it to come back into AIS range so we could watch it dock at Brunswick this morning (http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...MMSI=351733000)!
Just wish there was a live cam were we could watch the ship getting unloaded.
Here's to hoping that there are no delays at the VDC...

We can pretend it's a live picture: go to Google Maps and plug in the coordinates of the current ship position (which is at the port):
