New Owner of a 2012 MINI Hardtop with a question

I went to look at a couple of used MINIs from private owners today and just decided to stop by the dealership. Well long story short, I bought a 2012 MINI! I love driving this car. I didn't like the wheels but that is all they had.I really didn't want the 15 inch wheels. My question is can I/should I take the vehicle to a powder coat painter to make the rims black matte? Would that be the cheapest way to go?
I was surprised at how the dealer did not negotiate off of the sticker. Did I get ripped off?

Can't speak to your other questions, but I went in today to finalize the numbers for my CMS. Ended up paying MSRP with free boot stripes thrown in. So, paying sticker isn't out of the ordinary.

Cool. That makes me feel better. They only thing they threw in was an arm rest. Could not believe they were $600!

Getting a MINI at MSRP is pretty standard.

Getting a MINI below that is not very standard. Above is pretty rare too unless you live in a high demand market or like California.

Really? I managed to negotiate $750 below MSRP for my 2012 and I actually felt kind of disappointed about paying such a high price. Now I feel a heck of a lot better, knowing that a lot of people are paying MSRP or close to it.

I guess this is the pic you were trying to post:

If you don't mind the same wheels in black, a good powdercoating job wouldn't be cheap, but less than a set of new wheels.

As far as wheels go, I would get another set of what you want. PCing the current ones will not only have a slight hassle of the down time but also it will never be stock if you go to sell it. Plus with PC you still have the same 15" wheels in a design that might not be your first choice.
