With the help of this forum, I have tracked my Mini from online order through production in the UK, shipment from Southampton across the Atlantic into port in NJ, endured the excruciating lapse between the VDC and delivery to the dealership, and now, TODAY, I am picking up my Laser Blue/Black Justa w/ heated seats and sunroof to drive it home! I'm about to bust I'm so excited. Hang in there. Stay with the forum. Your Mini will come.

::sigh:: I finally found out what the holdup is on my MINI (she's been sitting at the VDC since 9/9/11). Apparently one of her rims was damaged in transit, so they are waiting for a new one. No estimate as to when she should be getting to the dealer. ::sigh::

What a bummer. but better they take care of it now than later. BTW. Last night I was kept up by a dream that had me test driving BMW's My dreams that keep me up usually are events that are going to happen. I just hope that there is nothing wrong with my CM that is at the VDC.

Oh, RallyCat--You must be so frustrated! I hope it doesn't take much longer. You will be SO happy with the color! It is truly jewel-like, the photos don't do it justice. I like looking at my mini almost as much as I like driving it. Hope you are motoring soon, soon!

Good news! I got a call today that she is on the truck, the dealership will have her today, and I will be picking her up tomorrow afternoon!

Aww, can't wait to see the pics when you get it working...for what it's worth, the easiest way I found was to upload the pics to photobucket, select the photo you want, copy the "direct link" under the photo, then come back here, click on the postcard-looking icon, then paste the link to the pic. Hope that helps!
