It might seem crazy to normal people, but I do agree to fellow enthusiasts who first told me that the ordering process all together is quite a difference kind of experience.

I'm still watching and waiting for the Integrity to move over the other side of the bay and start off loading Mini's at the VDC... they docked on the other side of the bay and it appears to be off loading other vehicles... it's been over there for about 20 hours or so.

I guess I need some more popcorn...

The Integrity is finally moored at the correct pier... hopefully they can start off loading our Mini's over to VDC and get on a car carrier very, very soon.

 

Just exchanged emails with my MA and pick-up is scheduled for Saturday morning. Thank the Maker!!

This sure is a long movie!!! It is finally over at the right pier. Now the long unknown wait... hopefully only a long week. VDC should only have to inspect and wash my Mini.

 

Right-on, it feels good just knowing their in the states and it's all down hill now. (in a good way) Almost home!

 

The Canopus Leader and Asian Vision both showed back up on the map in Panama. Let's hope we get a nice tail wind pushing them to LA.

I have to say waiting for my car is one of the most unbearable things I've done...and I just did a Tough Mudder!

OH.. I was originally supposed to be on the ASIAN VISION, but at the last minute CANOPUS LEADER picked me up.
I was just assuming ASIAN VISION because of the WW schedule, and I didnt know at the time that NYK also brings MINIs here.
Hopefully only another 10-15 days and I'll be taking delivery =]

 

Waiting is so painful because it keeps making you wait.

 

Here she is! After a 78 day, 22 hour wait. I am proud to annouce Lil Maky is now "on the road" . We timed pickup with a Mini Vacation we had planned, (no pun intended) so she has already toured around part of Washington State. (660 miles) (Can't get this silly grin off my face )

For those of you waiting or getting ready to order; It IS worth the wait!! hang in there!
