Is anyone else on the Falstaff?
Is anyone else on the Falstaff?
My MINI Countryman is on the Falstaff and is currently docked in Southampton. Is anyone else's MINI on that ship? How long do they usually stop in Southampton? It seems like it took forever to get from Bremmerhaven to the UK and now it's been moored for 2 days.
Can anyone commiserate with me? Anticipation and anxiety should be shared.

I wish I knew! My car has been sitting awaiting shipping for 12 days now and neither my MA or 1-866 have any info. I was looking forward to the tracking process, but between 1-866, my MA, and the Owners Lounge, the whole thing seems to be a giant crapshoot at best. Most of the info is either outdated or simply incorrect, IF they have any info at all.
Best of luck getting your CM! What color?

Don't panic yet! Do you have your Vin# yet? If you do, you can go here and plug in your numbers https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...ckSearchResult
And you can get some valuable info there.
Godfrey was waiting on the dock for a ship for about two weeks also, though, so I think that is more or less normal. I just kept checking the above link until finally one day ...voila
...success! The same day I found out through the link, my MA called to tell me the same thing.
The Falstaff loaded Godfrey in Bremmerhaven, sailed to Southampton and docked there for a couple of days to load other MINIs....and is currently in the middle of the Atlantic, next stop...Halifax.
Godfrey is black on black with chrome inside and out. Not very exciting by MINI standards....yet....but, I'll be doing a few things to him very soon.
I hope you have some luck with the above link...if the whole link does not work, try it this way... https://att.2wglobal.com
Let me know your progress!

Hey Jerseygirl! [By the way I was born in Summit NJ! And my MINI is MB/MB....high five!
]
Long story short, almost immediately after I posted my response, I called 1-866 and found out that I had shipped! Great timing huh?!?
My VIN didn't show up on the Wilhelmsen log, so I figured it either wasn't going on Wilhelmsen at all, or just wasn't updated on the website. Then I checked K-Line's schedule and there are only 2 options for K-Line boats, one of which is currently sailing. So I picked the other ship name, sent it to my MA, who confirmed the ship and that it should be in South Carolina on Saturday July 30.
Thanks for all your help, I will certainly update my progress! All that stress for nothing! Midnight Black for the win!!

Sub....I was born in Central Jersey too!
Glad your MINI is moving! What is the name of the ship? My ship is due on 7/27/11 to the NY port, which is really Jersey City. If your's is due in to South Carolina on the 30th, maybe we're on the same ship?
This is a great website. Put the name of your ship in and a map will come up. The big red dot is your ship, the little red dots are the route it's already taken. Fun to watch your ship making the trip. :-)

Well just to have another Jersey person chime in...my OL still shows my car as awaiting shipping and I've had it for a year. When I was waiting for my car to leave the UK it seemed to take forever. Turns out the OL and 1-866 were never updated and I unexpectedly got a call from my MA letting me know it was at the dock. Hopefully the same is true for the both of you and your MINIs are almost here!
NJ....Well waiting wasn't that much fun for you, was it? Your MA should have called you when your car was finished and awaiting shipment and then again when it was loaded onto the ship. That stinks that your MA slipped up, because it's really fun to follow it on it's journey. (Well, it's fun for me,killing time, since my garage isn't cleaned out yet...so I can wait another couple of weeks, lol)
