I wanna know too. I'm tired of building 2011s.

I tried to post the 2012 option packages but it has to be reviewed first by a moderator. The Ordering guide was sent to me since the configurator is not up yet. Hopefully the post will show up.

I placed an order for my fourth Mini yesterday. MA said the configurator will be updated in another 30 days or so. Packages have been re-configured....no Convenience pack any more.

I got the dealership's last factory chassis slot from their current allotment. Due to the tsunami in Japan electronic parts are back-ordered and the expected delivery date on any new orders is Christmas. They don't even know when they'll get their next allotment and new customers are being wait listed.

Guess I got lucky!

Maybe I'm lucky, but my dealer had no issues at all configuring a new 2012 MCS for me. In fact, it was ordered on June 24 and has already completed the build stage, ready for pickup by the carrier.

Here are the packages per internal MINI memo:
(no more convenience package, and sunroof is now a-la-carte only, $1000)

Premium Package ($1750)
Alarm $500
Comfort Access $500
Chrome Line Interior $250
Auto-Dimming RVM $250
Rain Sensor & Daylight Function $250
Auto AC $500

Technology Package ($1750)
Center Armrest $250
Rear Park Distancs Control $500
HK sound system $750
MINI Connected $1000 (or $1750 if Nav Included)

I was referring to the configurator not being up on the MINIUSA website for some time yet. Certainly MA's have it available to them for 2012 orders. However, you are lucky to have gotten your order in while they were still there to get.
