Shawn seems to be hustling everytime I am in there! If anything the dealership is short staffed. I am waiting to hear back from the sales manager regarding the connected with nav w/o nav issue.

So now the dealership tells me the can order the car without Nav afterall. Anyone heard anything about a possible delay based on the connected head unit?

So, I got my production number yesterday. I found out when I emailed my MA about the MINI Yours program. She mentioned that there is a short window of time to modify the order, so we'll see. I'm just so excited though. I've been waiting for my order to go in since the beginning of May.

Hey all, please keep me informed about your progress. I put in my order for a Countryman in Austin on 6/24. I was told I was basically waiting in a line to get in a line, as they had no allocations yet. I just asked my MA for an update this morning, I'll let you know what I hear.

I put in my order on 6/28/11, Los angeles. The latest update I received is an August production. I still have not received a production number.

Ordered about a month ago and just got my production number Friday 7/8/11. My MA told me production should begin in August sometime and that I should expect an October/November delivery. Hopefully I'll get more specific dates as we get closer to production.

Very excited that my Cosmic Blue Countryman S is on order!

interesting

I had also emailed their marketing folks and was told it would be mid-July. The email was not nearly as detailed:

"Should be mid July.

Best,

Nathalie Bauters"

Did Mt Laurel give you any indication as far as delivery? They kept telling me only eight weeks which sounds entirely too optomistic.

My MA (Shawn) said 6-8 weeks from the date the production number was assigned, which btw I got today. That would put our Countrymen arriving Mt Laurel sometime first half of September (if there are no delays etc..) Koopah did say production will begin in August, if that's the case then maybe late September the latest..

My MA told me it will be 8 weeks from the production start date. I'm scheduled to start the middle of August.

So, for those with some more experience, how do we know when production actually begins?

Once you get your production number, you can go to www.miniusa.com and sign up for the owners lounge under the owners resources tab on the bottom left hand corner of the screen. There you can track your mini's progress. Then go to this thread...

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d-updated.html

It tell you how you can track it's voyage and delivery. Have fun and enjoy the process. It's all worth it in the end.

I have a production number and week!

Well, it's official! Ladybug is going to be "born" the week of 14 August!

I headed down to Mini of Peabody tonight for a New Owner's clinic (despite the fact that I don't actually own one yet). It was a great experience and midway through the evening, my MA showed up. I figured I'd take the opportunity to see if he had a production number yet and he was nice enough to take me up to his office, pull out his computer and look up my order. Sure enough, not only was there a production number, but also a production week! The factory is on vacation for the first 2 weeks of August at which point CM production begins. According to my MA, I'm in the first week of 2012 production! So, long story short, in the worst case scenario, delivery before October.

I'm soooo excited!

Lucky you! I am green with envy...

I'm gonna shoot my MA an email right now to see if he has any good news for me too (fingers crossed).

CM51 --

I hope you hear back soon! If they don't have a production number, find out what status code it's at...if I remember correctly, if you're at 110 or 111, you're pre-production, don't have a number yet, 112 means ready for production, and 115 means in-production!

Alas, no production date/week for me. Status code is 112, but my MA speculates MINI will be producing the orders for the eastern region first.

My status code is listed as 112 as well. As for my MA; clueless about it.

I stopped by the dealership on Wednesday and still no production number. I wasn't aware of these status codes at the time, so I guess I'll give my MA a call.
