Just called 866.ask.MINI and the status finally changed with a forecast completion date of tomorrow!!

Status says I'm in the body shop - maybe in paint by now since I'm not sure how laggy their data is.

Not long before my faulty chrome trim gets put on my R60!!

Completion date for mine is today!!!! Ask MINI says it's in the paint shop and will be completed today (8/19)

 

Just found out mine is being transported to the port for shipment. My baby is on the long road home!

 

Just called and it is done with production, heading over to QC today.

 

Looks like our 2012's are moving along. OL status today changed to 'Awaiting Transport' and hotline says "Your vehicle is being transported to the point of exit"

 

Looks like some of ours will be on the same boat out of town, hopefully rather quickly.

 

I'm impressed with the accuracy ( so far! ) of Mini's tracking system. I was told that "Miss Coco" would be born today, and sure enough, Ask Mini says that she IS done, and has been released to the carrier! Now if we can just get over the fear that they built her wrong, or that all the chrome trim is falling off, or that the ship sinks in a hurricane....we'll be fine!

 

Mine will also be born today! Can't wait!

 

That happened to a Volvo my parents ordered a few years ago. Waited for it to finally get built, then the transport ship sank with all the cars on it lost. Lame!

Ordered a 2012 Countryman S ALL4 last week and it has already entered production! I was a little disappointed in the 2012 price packages vs the 2011 packages.

I fully understand. We originally wanted to order an 11 but couldn't. the 12 ended up costing us 600 more than a comparably equipped 11. We just scratched a couple of wants off of our list. Fog lights and comfort access. Oh well!!! I guess MINI figured that people would order the new packages without regard for what is in them.

 

Haha...the MiniLauren and LaurenMini IS pretty funny. Either way, I'm from New Hampshire and Ladybug left the factory on Wednesday. Hoping she's closer to the 3 days transport time to the 3 weeks time!

 

Now I have got it. Minilauren is from NH. and Laurenmini is VA. Where is Ladybug going to reside? I spent many summers near lake sunappee. (seems like along time ago though)

 

My car has just reached scheduled for production but it did not give me a production date. Called the MINI hotline and was told by the MA rep the car has started production already. I hope the wait isnt too much longer... I'm started to regret not picking up the 2011 on the lot.

Just curious some of you said that you had a notice it was in the paint shop and what not. where did you get this more detailed tracking information? All I have is the Owners lounge and all its giving me is scheduled for production.

Hi all, my new status as of this morning from ask MINI is "at the port, awaiting a shipping vessel"!

 

Me too! This is moving faster than I thought...until the boat sinks.

 

Me three! Status updated to at port awaiting a shipping vessel this morning. The trip from Graz to Bremerhaven was pretty quick!

 

Me 4! I went to this site to check what boats are leaving Bremerhaven for my port (NY). Elektra leaves on 8/24, arriving 9/7. Mignon 9/7, arriving 9/21. Hopefully it gets on the Elektra!

Dang. I have to ask my MA what port they use. It could be Charleston or Brunswick. Thought maybe Savannah, but that is not listed on his blog as an option. I could have a boat here as soon as 9/2! I am not getting my hopes up.

 

Mine has said "On Order" in the Owners Lounge for weeks and my MA had no information. I just called AskMINI and the rep said its already in production! I am so happy, I was starting to worry.

So for those of you in production now, does anyone have an estimated delivery date? Anyone on the West Coast?

And I agree - we were pretty disappointed in the changes to the packages for the 2012's. Would have spent more on packages for the 2011 but ended up scaling back for a 2012.

 

Try entering your production number via the automated line. I think its option 2, then enter ur #, then hit 1. It'll give you the status, then say "with an estimated completion date of xxx"
