New MINI Owner In Michigan
Hello All –
My name is Jeff, and while I'm no stranger to German and British Cars (vintage & late model), this is my first MINI. I have to be honest, it only took a few miles of driving the car (on the trip back to MI from Cleveland where I purchased it) for me to "fall in love" with it – it now ranks up there with my all-time favorites.
It's a very nice and well cared for one-owner example 2004 R50 with full service records back to '04 and a spotless Carfax. The PO literally had ALL of his maintenances and repair work done at the MINI dealer – including tires. Nice options like PANO Roof and Harman Kardon stereo.
I just bought a set of 2011 R121 Conical Spoke Wheels & new Kumhos that I will be installing tomorrow! I'm pretty stoked about the wheel upgrade, although I don't mind the look of the R82 8-spokes. I'll be posting pics as soon as the new shoes get mounted up.
Nonetheless, I just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone, including my fellow Michiganders.

Welcome! Congratulations on the new MINI! As you can see by my screen name, I am in MI too. I've had my BRG/B R53 for amost a year.
