Hello from Sweden

I live in southern Sweden. A couple of weeks ago my old BMW 318iS died. I'm now looking at ads, Mini forums, comparing prices, and trying to learn as much as possible about the Mini Cooper S. I'm not in a big hurry to buy as my girlfriend has a VW Golf, and I have a Softail Springer to ride. I've always been interested in the Mini Coopers, and will eventually buy a Cooper S from 2002-2003 when I find the right one. This Mini forum seems like a good place to learn stuff so Hello everybody!!

Finally!!! I bought a Cooper S '04, 20 days ago and it's great!! I saw one that was advertised in a town 3 1/2 hours train ride away. Talked with the owner, came to an agreement on a price if the car was as I expected, arranged a time which suited us both and took the train up on a Saturday morning. The owner met me at the station and I drove the car to his house, 10 minutes away. The car was fine, in good condition, lowered 2 inches, Milltek exhaust, Harmon Kardon, with a panorama roof which was an option I really wanted. So paid the money, loaded in the original Mini 17" alloys with summer tyres, original air box, ariel, rubber floor mats, and started the drive back home. The car went really well. I kept within the speed limit as there are a lot of speed cameras on the road.

Congrats. Now show us some pictures.

You may have lots of speed cameras in Sweden but at least you can drive over to Germany and open your car up on the Autobahn or better yet, the Nurburgring.
