Faust is docked in Halifax. My MA told me I could see my MINI as early as Friday. wootsauce!

Just heard from my MA. Looks like my car should be ready Mon or Tues! Exactly 6 weeks after my order.

That's pretty good.....not overloaded....when are you getting your ride?

 

Hopefully today or tomorrow. Im thinking it would have been today if i didnt have dealer installed lamps. I knew if I didn't get them installed there, I'd prob never do it.

I was deciding between getting the S with one free package, or getting the non-S with everything I wanted. Getting all that with the non-S kept me under my budget (read: spouse's set budget ). I was a little bummed about not having the turbo, but I was able to sport it out a bit, so Im happy.

 

My MA just sent me a pic of her fresh off the truck! Picking her up after work tomorrow.

Yeah, we all need to live within our means. Luckily, I didn't want too many options so that kept the price down. But the problem is that my option list was so limited that none of the dealerships had it in stock. So I had to order mine.

 

So much fun driving home! Though it poured about halfway through and mine windows started to fog up. You forget how much you're on autopilot when you know your car. I was fumbling around trying to work everything. Just required a little thought ( which is scary for me)

This might sound like a dumb question, but aren't the white turn-signals supposed to be, well white? After I got home I realized that they were orange.

 

Cool!!! I don't have the white turn signals on my Clubman. But I would think so. Maybe you should ask your MA?
