Hey all, just checking in. Drove new Mini home last night!
Just saying hello.
2011 Mini Convertible. Silver velvet with black hood stripes, automatic, and bluetooth. Drove it home last night.
Still haven't figured out how to get Pandora to play through bluetooth or the iphone adapter that came with it so if anyone has any insight.......
Also trying to figure out how to carry a mountain bike without having to spend 500+ on an aftermarket trailer hitch so any ideas on that would be greatly appreciated too!!
Other than that, loving the car so far. I traded in a Saturn Sky redline so I'm giving up a lot of horsepower but hopefully moving into a more reliable car with better gas mileage, lower insurance rates, and an automatic convertible top!!!
Been reading through some posts here and it looks like a great forum you guys have. Looks like I'll be sticking around for quite a while!

My first thought with the mountain bike
1) Top Down
2) put in back seat (with some kind of protection for your seats of course)

Yep, that's probably what I'll end up having to do for a while. Have to figure out how to fit the girlfriend's bike at the same time too...

Congrats! You'll enjoy the convertible in the South Florida weather Pleaseeee post pictures-I'm curious to see what the velvet silver looks like. I saw it online, and the colors aren't as accurate a depiction sometimes, so I'm wondering if its a re-named sparkling silver, or if it's somewhat different. In any event, SHOW IT OFF!

No pics yet but I'll see if I can take a couple with my crappy iphone camera. BTW, I don't know what the sparkling silver looked like but the velvet silver is more of a medium to darkish metallic gray type of color.
