I have limited info; plus I ordered a jcw clubman.
Ordered Feb 12th. The only info I have so far is April production. Does seem a little late to me, but being a jcw and a clubman-who knows. Order placed in Canada.

The mini salesperson. I was bit surprised by the late date, but I do not think I have any control over this aspect.

Well you already know mine but my date it supposedly went into production was 2/16. I believe the order date was 2/6. According to ASK MINI, it is currently being assembled. It is supposed to be completed tomorrow. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if its done. I'm guessing Saturday or Monday is more realistic. Then it will miss the next boat which is 3/6 so it will wait at the docks until 3/15 to get on the next one.

you think if my mini is assembled by the 14th it could jump on the 15th shipment?

Unfortunately no I don't think so. It takes a couple of days to get from the factory to the docks. If you don't make the 15th, then I think there's a ship the following week.

Where did you order from? Or would you rather not say in public? Mine isn't any good at giving info either. I have to be my own private investigator to figure anything out.

Mine has been at the port in NJ for 2 weeks. WTF! I am going to blow through my extended lease date on my current 08 clubman. True I am getting a jcw aero kit and gauges port installed but I have not been given a clear answer as to what's going on. Was supposed to take a week...argh!

I love reading these threads, it brings back good memories when I was waiting for my MINI to arrive Stateside. I'm not sure if you guys can still track your ship every day as it slowly drifts across the Atlantic, but that was fun. Excruciating, but exciting at the same time.

Hi Drew.
Yes I think the ship can still be tracked across the pond. I didn't do that last time around. I just tracked it in and out of port. By the way, I don't live too far from you. I'm in SI. Are you on the nemini.org boards at all?
