Can't seem to stop Grinning!
Hi,
I am the proud new owner of a Great 2011 Spice Orange MCS. I have wanted a MINI since I first saw "The Italian Job". Finally got tired of putting gas in my Toyota FJ Cruiser (another great car by the way). I have had my Mighty Mini for about 5 weeks now, and the grin will not go away. Now my girlfriend is getting ready to get rid of her Honda Civic and get a Clubman S. I talk to the car at night, go to the garage to say good night. It is great when a 55 year old guy act's like a teenager with his first car. Looking forward to adding this and that to make it "Mine".
Happy Motoring,
Miniizm

And I'm 59. My MC will be two years old next week. Yesterday I waved to another Mini. Trouble is I forgot...I was driving my wife's bmw x3.
Enjoy your Mini. Two years from now you will still be smiling just as much!

Thanks for the Welcome Everyone. Just got home from the MINI dealership, where I just had to have a new hat, keychain, and center armrest.
Taking it to the track at Thunderhill in Nor Cal tomorrow. Should be about 70-100 other MINI's and Mini's there.
One question. How do I keep it under 85 mph? That is where it likes to run, and I feel like a controlling parent if I do not let it do what it wants.

Congrats on your new MINI! I've been leaning towards Spice Orange for my next MINI but have yet to see one in person. It is a rare enough color that I haven't managed to catch one at my local dealership.

I know the feeling I'm "only" 45 and feel the same way. I've never had a car that kept smile on my face like my MINI.
