Hello all, just want to introduce myself...my wife is the owner of a 2009 Mini Cooper. I have registered here because I will be doing the bulk of the maintenance. I have been using similar automotive forums for years and find them to be very informative.

Since our kids have grown up I felt it was high time she picked out a car that she always wanted. She fell in love with the new Coopers since they were first introduced. I have to say I truly enjoy driving it myself. I have never seen her take such interest in owning and maintaining a car. She is already talking about an all wheel drive Clubman when time comes to upgrade.

Welcome! I am just like your wife I guess.. before the MINI I never cared about more than the regular maintenance schedule, and that was more just something I had to do than I wanted to. But now I am delving into learning about how things actually work, and for the first time in my life I find myself browsing forums and automotive sites looking for my next upgrade!
