Congrats, I know just how you feel! I just got my '08 MC at San Diego Mini and I am completely NUTS over her. Have fun, and beep if you pass through Cardiff!

I'm in Escondido. This car is so much fun to drive! Lots of things to get used to though... like turning off your turn signal after a lane change =P

Yeah, that killed me the first couple days I owned mine. I felt like a n00b every time I looked down and the signal was on.

Yeah the turn signal thing is weird, right? Do you just flip it the opposite way to turn it off? I feel like I'm constantly blinking one way or the other.

SOOOO much fun to drive though! I don't even like driving and now I find myself going out of my way just to stay in the car longer. This is gonna be hell on my gas card, even with good mileage.

Tell me about it. My other vehicle is a '96 Dodge Ram 1500 w/ 160k Miles on it. The Gas mileage in it was ~15/gal (horrible) So even when i drive 90 uphill in my mini, I'm still getting better gas mileage than the truck!
