Just wanted to introduce myself and thank you all for a ton of great info I've read already in the forums. I fell in love with MINI at hello, but ended up buying a sweet little '65 Karmann Ghia for lack of funds. Now I really need to get serious about a daily driver and am determined to find the perfect Mini. I'm shopping for my first one now and, after all these years of wishing and drooling, I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what I really want.

Should I go for the loaded pre-owned or a new 2010 base model? Cabrio or sunroof? Automatic or manual. Sheesh, looks like I need to test drive a few more...

I'll be looking for some advice from Mini enthusiasts, so I hope to see you on the boards

Hey MD, MINI Dealers have some great buying incentives for left over 2010's right now

 

I've heard there's .9% financing on some models. That's like giving you money to buy a car. Take it and motor on!

 

Yes, I'm keeping an eye out for those incentives. I'd be thrilled with a 2010 and it seems the smart way to go to spend maybe 3K extra for new vs. used, even if it's not tricked out. I can always add things as I go, right? I think the .9% is for '11 convertibles, which are out of $$ range for me, but I'm scouring the dealerships for year-end deals on a nice little pepper white pano roof or convertible... we'll see what happens. Thanks for the support!

Introducing.... LILY! This sweet '08 just popped up at the new local Mini dealer with 9 of 10 of the wishes on my wish list. Didn't seem right to pass her up since the universe was so kind to put her there for me.
