My preowned (used) 2008 yellow convertible should be ready to pick up tonight.
I am a 74 year old (soon to be former) motorcycle rider. Can't really hack the miles in the saddle any longer so I will be hanging up my helmet, chaps and jacket and will be motoring in the Mini. Maybe now the wife will go with me.
Scared the the heck out of her about 40 years ago on the back of a 1976 Yamaha XT500 and haven't gotten her near one since.
I will be lurking and perusing for a while until I see whats up. Then I may add my nickel or perhaps ask a question or two without seeming really dumb.

Yeah at 74 it's about time to exchange 2 wheels for 4. But with a MINI the fun continues and maybe even more so.

 

Well, I've got about 20 more years of two wheels (according to your situation - I'm just a measly 54 ) I've actually been thinking the same thing. I have an 04 Mini but have been thinking about selling my bike and upgrading the Mini. Of course, I haven't mentioned the idea to the wife. She'd probably be too excited about that possibility. I think it's just the hot weather affecting my brain and my riding for now. I'll wait through the fall/winter to decide. But I love driving the Mini! Welcome, and many miles and smiles to you!

The yellow is what caught my eye as I passed the dealership on my Spyder. Since I got my yellow Spyder I have become fond of yellow vehicles. Don't know why.
Actually exchanged 2 wheels for three a while back. Now going from 3 to 4.
