Newbie 04 MC

Hello all,
My wife and I just purchased an 04. I am looking forward to learning a lot on this site as I do as much wrenching myself as I can. I would post a pic, but I'm at work!

We picked up the MC from a local bank, they had repo'd it. I've never done such a thing, so a little nervous about a purchase like this. I guess time will tell!

Congrats & Welcome to the family! Good luck...will be looking for those pics. You know MINI owners are great people but we don't share our MINI's very well...so be prepared to become a two-MINI family.

Welcome to the forum, I hope your repo MINI is OK, but there is no reason why it shouldn't be, good luck.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Here is a pic of our "new" mini! It's not too good, took it with my phone. I'll get some more up soon. We just finished an 800 mile trip and it performed fine! It was mostly interstate since we had to get from point A to point B in a hurry (had to get to a funeral and back home). Even with the hilly stretches of road, performance was fine. We averaged a little over 30 mpg keeping it about 70mph with some stop n' go traffic. Does that seem about right for this model/auto tranny? Once again, thanks to all....hope you all don't mind questions, I'm sure I'll have a lot more. I promise I'll use the search function first
