Hello from sunny California

Hi, I'm a new member and thanks to info I got from this community, I finally purchased an '06 Pepper White MCS.

Love the car so much and thinking of selling my NB Miata since I rarely use it after I got a MINI. I have to admit that the Miata feels more "connected" but the MINI is far more civilized and so comfy.

Anyone here got both cars? Which one do you prefer?

I have both, to sell my Miata would be sacrelig, so I'm considering putting him on basic insurance. I agree, the Miata truly seems 'at one' with the road, but the MINI isn't any less fun to drive (I don't have mine yet, but I've test driven umpteenth MINIs). I agree MINI is far more luxurious and I love the quirky interiors, I hope you have fun with yours I'll just stand back and dream in envy!

Congrats on the ride! I am also in Sunny CA. If your in southern ca check out the socal mini maniacs. Great club with a lot of social events.

Congrats, I've always loved Miata's too, but can't take 4 tires to the track like you can in the MINI, and I like cabrios, but it's just too hot here in Atl for em.
