Bought my daughter a Mini for graduation last month. I loved driving the car so much that I just put a deposit on an S for myself. This coming from a guy who's other fun car is a vette.
RIght now I'm using an F150 as a daily driver and the 15mpg is killing me.
Can't wait to get it.

 

Congratulations what options, color etc did you get on your car

 

Cooper S, 6spd, Horizon Blue/Black Roof, Black Bonnet Stripes, 17" R90 Wheel Pkg(Black Spokes), Premium Pkg w Sun Roof, Bluetooth/Ipod,Cold Weather Pkg (so I get to keep a set of winter wheels)....Pretty Basic. Will post after Pickup. Not till next Wed.

Ah yes.... the daddy steals MINI syndrome! We had a case of that at my house. My husband would steal both my daughters minis until we made him get his own. Of course the guys used to laugh at him when he took the one with the vanity plates "CUPK8KE" to work! He prefered "BADAPPL" so he stole that one more offten. Enjoy!

Congrats!! You're gonna love the MINI. Sold a 3 series BMW convertible to buy my MCS convertible this past summer and have had 7 months of motoring fun. I still look for excuses to drive like I did when I was 16 (been a few years ago...)

Welcome. You'll love driving your MINI in NYC compared to the F150, though you might consider installing cattle bars front and rear to protect your paint
