I've had my 2009 MCS for a week, and I got my first wave yesterday! I was about a block from my house, and since I live in a smallish town, I was shocked to see another one!

What fun. I love my car and the waves!

It only gets better Blue! Though lots of people report un-waving encounters, I've been fairly lucky. Flash o' the lights and a wave and most of 'em seem to respond. Happy Motoring!

We've seen many more MINIs on the road lately, and always wave. I can't recall the last time one was returned.

 

Yeah the wave is hit and miss in my area, buy I will give out the wave if I think someone is paying attention. Secret clubs are cool.

Very awesome! I used to never get waves. But I swear, as soon as I had the car for a year, I've started getting at least a wave every day! It's completely renewed my hope for the wave.

 

I've only run into one other MINI on the road when in one and they waved. It was awesome. :D

On my way to Cincinnati again to get my decals added I'm sure there will be at least one or two more I'll run into... they're more common out there than they are here.

 

i've had my mini for just over two weeks now and just got my first mini wave today! i always look at the other minis on the road but never really notice anybody looking anymore. oh well. maybe i should just wave anyway?

Yes, I'm a member of the Metroplex MINI Club. I just joined last Saturday and have only been to one event, but it's a great group with wonderful people.
