Bought a new-to-me MINI
Bought a new-to-me MINI
Hey guys, I just picked up my first Mini. I'm usually a muscle car guy, but I've always liked the Minis. It's a 2006 Cooper S with 46k miles. Seems pretty well loaded up. Is there a site I can plug the VIN into to check out all the options? Only thing I saw was to ask the dealer or email Mini. Thanks.

Congrats and welcome! If you register here then click this URL https://ol.miniusa.com/auth/MINIOrderTracking.aspx (while logged in) it should show the build list and order details.
Nice car! I see the rear fog, "Premium" package (sunroof/auto a/c, MFSW), armrest, aux gauges, xenons (possible sport package?), webspokes (nice wheels), leather seats (can tell by the lumbar adjustment). Do you also have the heated seats? Auto-wipers? Looks pretty loaded up, only option I don't see is the chrono pack (more gauges in the center stack), nav, or chrome rimmed gauges.
Very nice - and welcome! Where are you located? Don't forget to check out the local Mini Clubs...

17 alloy web spoke
roof and mirror caps in black
interior surface silver
center armrest
rear fog lamps
harman kardon sound system
cold weather package
premium package
sport package
Yes it does have heated seats. I assume that's part of the cold weather package. I don't believe it has the auto wipers. I'll have to double check. Now I just need to search and find out what all is included in these packages. I wish it had an auto dimming mirror with a homelink set up. Was that even an option?
Auto wipers, homelink and bluetooth was the "convenience" package - and (aside from nav or the center-gauge chrono pack) is about the only thing you DON'T have. It can be added, but expect large dollars. You can probably get the homelink/auto dim done another way (accessory mirror) but you'd either lose the OE mirror and go with aftermarket, or pay some buckaroos for the OE mirror, installation and reprogramming.
Very nicely done - you've got a well-optioned Mini.
17 alloy web spoke sweet wheels, much in demand
roof and mirror caps in black obvious
interior surface silver that plastic around the instruments
center armrest yup, works great if you like it, for me it gets in the way when shifting (I have the same one, anyone want it and have the OE trim piece from a non-armrest model?)
rear fog lamps a full panel of toggles, ad a Really BRight rear fog lamp, great for really foul weather but do NOT use it regularly as it's really obnoxious
harman kardon sound system Rear amp, more and upgraded speakers, more audio contouring options
cold weather package Heated seats, nozzles, and sideview mirrors
premium package MFSW - multifunction steering wheel with cruise and radio controls on wheel), auto a/c, sunroof
sport package 17" wheels (though yours were optioned up to the Webspokes, also 17"), tighter shocks/springs, DSC (stability control), xenon headlights
I think I caught it all... no, wait, I see aftermarket chrome center grille bars. And those gauges on either side of the tach are an OE option that was likely dealer-installed and so wouldn't show on the lookup you did.
