Our second MINI is going to be a week 8 car any other week 8 people out there?

 

I just found out that my MINI is scheduled to finish production on Feb 14, so it looks like I am part of this cycle as well.

 

Curious - how is week 8 from 02-11 to 02-21 - that's a week and a half?
I was told my MCS is a second week February build, I thought that might be week 7?

 

I typed the wrong number it should be 2-15 to 2-21 but there is no way to edit the name(that I know of). It look like my car became a week 7 and started today

 

Hope mine is coming down the line right behind yours!
Did you get your info from Owner's Lounge or your MA?
Being Canadian we don't have the Owner's Lounge feature, so I await an email from the dealer.

 

I got my info via the automated phone line; it simply said something along the lines of in production with a scheduled finish date of 2/14. The Owner's Lounge doesn't have anything as detailed, it just says "Scheduled for Production." Haven't talked to a human yet, be it MA or via the main phone line, to get more details.

 

I think I got slated for the last day of week 7, the 6th it went in..but on the phone i can't get any good info as of 2 days ago...i'll try again tonight....

Hopefully you guys catch the same breaks my MCS has - production has completed, it arrived at Southampton port the 10th, sailed that day (Faust) and is due at Halifax port Feb. 17th!

THANKS. I've been scouring the forums looking for this info.

I ordered on 2/2 and was expecting a prolonged wait. I was pleasantly surprised to see a 'scheduled for production' status after only a couple of days. I am not complaining.

 

I ordered mine on the 2nd as well!

 

Well due to the plant closing for a week there was no week 8 produciton to the thread has the totaly wrong name. Any way Im in the paint shop today so he should pop out tomorow or the next day as a week 9 MINI. Should make the boat leaving on 3/1 so I hope to have him the 3rd week of march.

 

I was lucky enough to miss that plant closure. Mine was completed on week 8 on 2/14.

 

I should be picking mine up on thursday =D anybody else on the east coast?
