By the looks of it, TOPEKA's coming in on the 14th now ( - checked http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...pe=generatePDF). I suggest waiting until it leaves Zeebrugge ... these things do not move very quickly

Did a quick Google search to see if I could find a reason for the delay using it's callsign (MPTP3) but didn't find anything.

OK, so mines @ the port as of today. I'm a little fuzzy about this using the VIN to check if its been loaded to the ship, can someone direct me to the link, post or thread where I can figure this out?

thanks

Go to - http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/

At the bottom of the screen you should see "Track & Trace".

Click on the "All Users" below that.

On the next screen just put your VIN into the "Cargo ID" field and press the "Track" button.

Just keep in mind that the VIN tracking only works if your car is going to come over on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WW) line. I believe all of the US ports are serviced by WW, but Charleston, South Carolina is also serviced by KLine and that doesn't have a way to track your VIN.

Mines coming to Port Hueneme so it would be WW, correct?

Well...It looks like I "Missed the boat" as they say. Looks like we will not be carpooling when your MINI arrives at the dealership. I have to check out some of the addl links you provided to check up on these boats at sea, etc. Hope your MINI has a nice journey. What's the latest forecast anyway ?

So...I guess I am awaiting the Topeka ! It would seem that Coken is now taking my spot pulling up the rear of the wagon train going aboard the Topeka. Let's see how this plays out !

cameroon said the Topeka was delayed a day, so maybe we can both make it onboard.

Yup, you'll be on a WW ship I wasn't sure which port you were coming in.

I just talked to someone at ASK MINI...I was going through Quality Inspection today and I am set to be finished tomorrow! Hopefully I can join the party on the Topeka!

Cameroon...I wish your car a happy float. Mine was #6 going on so if your car is happy so will mine be! It's gonna be an excruciating wait.

Nice all-red configuration there

I hear you on the wait - I've had so much information to play with the past few days but once we're into the Atlantic properly it'll just be out imaginations. Guess we can look at the north Atlantic weather, heheh.

I figure you're coming in through the NY port as well - are you with me that they should work the weekends

Mine will actually come in through Charleston so I get to wait thru Halifax and New York plus a couple more days.

I've been watching the posts for the last couple of days. You all have offered so many tracking tools that you have frustrated my MA. I've been telling HIM where my car is!

There's a post somewhere over in the MINI2 forums (I think) that has tracking info similar to what's posted in the stickied thread here. However, at the end, it asks that people stop calling the WW offices for information. Fortunately we haven't had to resort to that

The TORRENS appears to be cruising along at a leisurely 22 knots this morning. If I pull in close, it's moved about 6 inches since it left port!

Who among us is aboard the TORRENS?
...cameroon
...clubbieRme
...??

Heh, yeah with just two of us on there I don't think we should start up a "All aboard the TORRENS" thread

Looks like TOPEKA is on track to arrive in Zeebrugge at noon (EST)

My build is complete and we are waiting for transportation to the port (although the owners' Lounge status is not yet up to reality ). I'll be checking the WW web site to see when my VIN shows up. Should be in plenty of time to make it on board the Topeka .

Great! I think you're right, builds done today should make it. Builds done tomorrow might be a little more iffy (since they don't seem to be transporting from the factory to the docks on weekends).

I'm in the body shop as of today, with an estimated completion of tomorrow according to the automated bloke.

Looks like there will be a bunch of you on TOPEKA

Chimera, talk about quick turn around for you there. Ordered 3/2 and ten days later it's done!

I don't think the Topeka is coming to Canada so that won't work for me. My car is destined for the Port of Halifax. Then a train ride to Alberta. How many days between start of assembly and arrival at the Southampton docks?
