Hurry up and wait. If you would lhoboy can you let me know if it pulls in on schedule?

I would appreciate it.

Pat
As soon as the Fedora appears on any of the tracking sites, I'll post the link.

I think the ship is a ghost ship. You can never find it.

Trust me you could have it if you want.

The Pacific Breeze has been the same way... nothing outside the english channel until it arrived in the caribbean.

My MINI finally hit dry land! Yay! Now off to the distribution center (which apparently is in South Carolina...so tell me why my car didn't just get off in Charleston yesterday? )

Woo hoo!! Can't wait until we all start picking them up at the dealers! Sorry for those of you still crossing the ocean....hopefully there will be smooth sailing/weather from here on out, so there are no more delays.

Hmm. Mine was on Otello and it's still showing as loaded on vessel - did they forget to unload a batch of MINIs? According to WW tracking, the ship has left Brunswick already.

Are you checking the status on the Owner's Lounge or the WW site?

Here's what the WW site is reporting for my Otello delivery:
LINER RELEASE NEW YORK, NY 09-02-2009 08:23:15
CUSTOMS RELEASE NEW YORK, NY 09-02-2009 00:00:00
DISCHARGED NEW YORK, NY 07-02-2009 16:10:00 1
LOADED ON VESSEL SOUTHAMPTON 28-01-2009 19:24:00 1
RECEIVED AT TERMINAL SOUTHAMPTON 26-01-2009 18:54:00 1
BOOKED SOUTHAMPTON 05-12-2008 12:03:55 1

Even though it arrived at port on Friday, it was not unloaded until Saturday. It was cleared through customs midmight on Sunday and not released by the carrier to BMW until 11:15 Monday night. That's a union dock for you.

The Owner's Lounge still shows the car "En Route" (on vessel).

WW site shows mine as Discharged finally, but no customs clearance yet. I've gone through this process 2 weeks ago when my first unfortunate config of the Clubbie S landed in Brunswick. This is my second attempt to do it right :D

What's the story on your first config?

First was minimalistic, just the stuff I really wanted - sport pack / sport suspension. Second has pretty much everything except for Nav. I partially blame my MA because he didn't mention the rear fog switch hole, and that's what started it. Also, the price difference between my basic config and full config was less than 10%, so might as well enjoy the extra features.

At least now I know that I won't regret not getting something that can only be a factory option - most of the stuff that's left I can DIY later on if I really want to, but the plan for the MINI is to stay stock - I spent way too much time and money modding cars in the past.

Yes. I checked last night before bed and it was en route. This AM my status had progressed on MINIUSA. I know it was registered at the distribution center on Monday cause my MA showed me on her PC.

My Clubbie got unloaded from Otello in Brunswick, GA on the 10th and this morning OL status changed to "At VDC", plus they started showing "estimated delivery date" of 2/14. Too bad I'll be out of town, so hopefully the car will be my President's day present :D

My status on the OL finally changed to VDC as well. Where are you seeing the estimated delivery date?

Vehicle details - there will be a new line somewhere below the VIN.

My MA tells me he is seeing a delivery date of 2/15 for mine. They still need to arrange for the FrontGuard (InvisiShield) to be installed and throw on a couple more JCW pieces, so I'm guessing exactly one more week.
