Wrong production detail

I got my production number today!!!
I checked my details, and everything looks correct
EXCEPT they have me down for a sunroof.
Should I be worried?
What should I do?

OL sucks not accurate at all! You need to confirm with your MA ask for a print out of your confirmed order.

Do a search...there are a lot of cries about this. It is common for the Order Detail to be something different than what the OP would have ordered. It just is. That's why I suggested wait a few days, it will correct its self.

I understand that however there have been lots of cars reported as being wrong when they arrived, its better to confirm the order with the factory (MA can do this) and get it corrected. Then when if its still wrong when it arrives you can make them fix it without a argument.

X2

I had the same problem. If I waited a "few days" the cars would have gone into production and it would have been to late.

The reason I am worried is that ALL of the details are correct except ONE!
And I got lots of extras
It's not like there is just some random car detail loaded.

I guess I'll compromise. If it still reads this way tomorrow morning, I'll call

Forget calling, go by there and make sure they have it correct on paper.
A phone call can always be disputed at a later time.
When I ordered mine they had the wrong color and I went down and corrected the issue in person so that I could see what they were seeing.

I'd love to go by my mini dealer!
Unfortunately, it is a four hour drive.
Now if I already had my mini to drive there it would be worth it.

In any case, it is definitely correct on the paper they gave me to take home

There are three different papers for thee different computer systems that
dont talk to each other. The config system dosent talk to the order system. So everything is re-entered by hand again. If the paper has the production number thats the one were the dealer placed the order. He then gets a confirmation from the factory, thats the one he needs to check, he could probably e-mail it or fax it to you. There are currently lots of shortages of parts especially leather ones. Try rebuilding your car on the MINI usa site and see if everthing is there, if not chances are you may not get it at least when the car arrives. Dealers have been ordering parts and correcting the mistakes.

Wow Mr Ray, your car sure arrive fast!
I tried rebuilding, and the website doesn't indicate a shortage of any leather.
I left a message for my MA. Hopefully we will chat some time today to make sure that the order is all correct.

I am terribly excited. I am taking all of my anxious energy and building a carport for my new mini!

I would call your dealer. As people have stated here, your initial build detail will often be completely wrong because it is a dealer slot. Mine wasn't close, wrong everything and $10k worth of options I didn't order. Within 24hrs it was correct. But just one detail missing would worry me.

Sorry about that
My mistake for some reason the scroll bar was being cut off when the window opened. When the dealer told me that they were having trouble getting some options on the seats and I saw them dissapear......

I called my MA today, and he assured me that everything looks ok from his end. He said I should wait a couple more days for the owner's lounge to fix itself.

Ok, I thought I'd give a final update on my production details...
On Friday, one week after I ordered my car and five days after I got my production number, all of the details in the "factory ordered options" section disappeared. So my car went from being entirely correct except for an extra sunroof to nothing. This morning, Monday, those details reappeared and they are correct.
So RJKimbell, you were absolutely correct. No need to panic and YES I am very EXCITED!

Congratulations Jankjo!!! As Molly will be 6mo. on Sunday, Oct. 19th...I'm right there with ya!! You'll believe once yours arrives just what these little things we call MINIs will do to you.

When have you spent approx. 6+hrs. in two days making sure that your BABY is taken care of (Detailed...I mean), I just did that this last weekend!! Not to say that she gets pampered like that every weekend, but this Friday she goes back to Rasmussen MINI for a 7,500mi. Oil Change and to have her Tires Rotated and MAMA (Me) gets to take her. My Husband is usually the one to take her to the Dealership for Warranty work that's been done.

You WAIT...I know, you haven't stopped WAITING, but one day you will see your New BABY for the first time and you'll be hooked too!!

Oh Yeah...Pics. are REQUIRED!!
