Week 30 Support Group
Hey folks! I just called 1-866-ASK-MINI and learned I'm already in production!
I thought I was week #32, but I was mistaken. According to the rep, my car is already in the paint shop! Next step is assembly. I'm stoked!
So, if the Oxford plant is the mother birthing all of our MINI babies, wouldn't that make us all womb-mates?
All hail the "Production Week 30" family!

Well I got my inquiry report from my MA today, and my status is 150 - Production Started!!! I just ordered on Tuesday!
I guess that makes me a Week 30. I didn't think I'd see this thing until September so I'm super excited right now.

Funny thing is, my car will be going where I've wanted to go for years...through the Panama Canal. Fascinating engineering project, especially considering when it was built!
I've been to England once before, and I hope to return. I'd certainly make a point of trying to see the MINI's "birthplace". A factory tour would be great.
For now, I'll have to settle for the glimpses into the MINI's origins via the MINI Owner's Lounge links.

I talked to my MA and he tried to look it up in his computer and he suspects it should be already on a ship on its way here. I am not sure if that means I am a week 30. I read here that some even new the name of their ship. How would you find that out?

My Clubman, "Edgar" is now "Production Complete and waiting for release to the carrier". I hope there's room on the Don Juan on the 31st for him!
Now it's time to start checking the VIN on the carrier's website to confirm he's on board. Has anyone been able to do that yet for the Don Juan?

Hey bro, how did you find out for sure you are booked with them? I suspect that I am going to be departing on the 28th via the Courage as well (arriving in Brunswick, GA) but I just want to be sure! Thanks!
Just enter your VIN on the Auto Cargo tracking site for WW. If it does not come up, then you're not booked yet. I only got the booking number after my VIN showed up in their database.
Mine is waiting at the port too. I've tried my VIN and havent gotten anything back yet.
Im in NY, so I assume I'll be on the Don Juan, but has anyone made sense of the K-line schedule? I wonder if there is a chance mine will end up on that line.

I called Ask Mini today and found out that my car is in paint production and is scheduled for completion (yesterday actually). Does that mean that it is scheduled for completion in paint production or the entire car is scheduled for completion?
