He is a cheeky devil and from word of mouth (The Don Juan being the Love Boat) he has had a good time! They will be in New York tomorrow so he better behave.

I got to see my car this evening, it was delivered to the Dealer this morning, and I am picking it up tomorrow evening! So... Ordered on the 12th of July, it was Born on the 27th of July, and it was at the Dealer on the 12th of August. Not bad...

 

Congratulations! I know mine made it to the VDC, but still haven't heard back from my MA.

I'm scheduled to fly to NY on 8/24 and pick it up 8/25 and drive back to Phoenix. Seems like that is FOREVER to wait!

Winston hits the VDC today and my MA said "maybe" by the 20th. Ordered more mods and am ready to roll.

Getting mine on Thursday at Brian Harris Mini.

 

She arrived into Port Hueneme on August 11 and my MA called at noon on August 13th asking if I wanted to come in and get her. Yikes! I couldn't believe that the dealership had my car 2 days after receipt at the Port. I hadn't gotten all the payment stuff squared away so I had to wait a day. What a long day that was but so worth it......

He is here!
Winston I, arrived today at 2pm. Was only delayed 2 days because of "Tropical Storm Fay".

My MA is going to get him ready for pickup Saturday afternoon.

I am not going to tell the wife.
She works Saturdays and when she comes home and opens the garage Winston will be looking at her Minta and going "Want to Race?"

 

She's finally here! Just talked to my MA and I'm going to pick her up as soon as my husband gets home.

After the excrutiating wait to get to production, then waiting for a ship, then the lllooonnnggg voyage to the west coast (3 weeks), I can't believe she was unloaded on 8/20 and got to the dealer this morning around 9:00 and will be ready today. I was hoping (without wanting to get too excited YET) that it would be Sunday but I was fully expecting another week. Only 4.5 more hours!!!

 

...and how many minutes?

Basic pictures posted in my gallery of Winston at Vista Mini.
He has gone through some mods on Sunday. New antenna, XM Sat (SKYFI3), Chrome Tail handle, Mini protection strip on rear bumper and a badge holder to start.
Holding the CAI from DDM Works for a week or so to get used to the systems.
I want to get the heat shield install ASAP. It gets very hot around the turbo area. Tight fit to access two bolds to remove the OEM shield at bottom.
Going to do this Thursday & Friday.
